Cecilia Keizer, Oxfam country director in Nepal has been tracking the devastation caused by the earthquake at ground zero.

Here is the latest update -- people are scared to go indoors, frequent aftershocks has forced them to sleep outdoors, facing the cold unforgiving Himalayan weather.

Her biggest concern is that the death toll, currently at over 2200, could increase considerably.

Listen to her here.

Full transcript of her byte is also given below:

“We still face a lot of aftershocks. The last one was 6.7, so it was quite a big one again. It is still not finished. I think people have to stay outside probably tonight as well. There are 16 designated sites assigned by the government and Oxfam is supporting to get water to these sites and logistics and getting some shelter also because it might start raining. For the rest we are preparing to support on a larger scale. But it still needs to be organised and especially it's very difficult because to reach the most affected area like Gorkha and Lamjung, where we definitely cannot go now because there are no roads. But we heard the American embassy is going there with helicopter. But still, we also cannot get in touch with our partners or get any information on the situation there. Information of people dying is coming from the Kathmandu valley and currently we have over 2000 deaths, but this is just the beginning.”
