Meet Jyoti

Meet Jyoti

The story of 12-year-old Jyoti Devi cannot be missed.

The location is Badalewa village in Hamirpur district of Uttar Pradesh. A small village, where everyone knows everyone.

The spotlight video showed us that women are in the dark. Jyoti is the shining light.

Jyoti is leading the charge of education in a small village in Uttar Pradesh and Oxfam India is helping her win this battle.

Her state government run primary school in Hamirpur district is one of the 8% schools in India that comply with most of the norms and standards stipulated in the Right To Education Act.

Don’t miss her complete story. COMING SOON.
