Providing Alternate Energy Solutions to Ensure Safe Drinking Water in Flood-Prone District of Odisha

In Odisha, Oxfam India works in flood-prone settlements of Subarnarekha, Mahanadi, and Daya river basins providing safe drinking water, at all times including emergencies. Along with SOLAR, Oxfam India has introduced alternative energy solutions to the Iron Removal Plant and Pond Sand Filtration Unit to ensure that clean drinking water is provided sustainably.
