Oxfam India Writes to Minister of Education on National Education Policy 2020

The National Education Policy offers an unprecedented opportunity to make much needed reforms to the education system. It makes some welcome suggestions that hold potential of positive impact on the education system in India. However, given the educational crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, it acquires added urgency.
Oxfam India made a detailed submission on the NEP implementation plan to the Ministry of Education as well as 6 State Education Ministries including Delhi, Haryana, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Rajasthan. The submission offers specific recommendations around each theme in the NEP along with a detailed segment that has chapter-wise recommendations for the action plan for NEP.
