Oxfam India received the Mahatma award on Oct 1 and was felicitated by UP governor Anandiben Patel on Gandhi Jayanti for its commendable humanitarian work on COVID-19.   

We have crossed the 30,000 mark. We completed training and delivering training kit to over 31000 ASHAs in 8 states. In addition we have provided 4416 kits for Female Health Workers from 18 districts in Odisha. 

Since May 2021, we have handed over medical supplies, diagnostic equipment, hospital beds and protective gear to 103 PHCs, 96 CHCs and 103 District Hospitals across 16 states – Maharashtra, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, New Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Assam, West Bengal, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Jharkhand, Rajasthan and Gujarat. These medical equipment include oxygen concentrators and cylinders, oxygen nasal masks and flow meters, oxygen beds, BiPAP machines and ventilators. We also delivered diagnostic equipment such as thermometers, oximeters, and BP machines.
