Letter To Jharkhand CM On Forest Produce Order 2020

Oxfam India writes to the Jharkhand Chief Minister to revoke its July 1 order to levy fee on collection of forest produce including firewood and fodder by forest dwellers. This is in clear violation of Sec 3 of the FRA which confers the right of ownership, access to collect, use and dispose of minor forest produce whcih has been traditionally collected within or outside village boundaries.
