Community-Based Monitoring to Claim Right to Food in Jharkhand

Chetna Vikas and Oxfam India have set up Gram Ahar Raksha Dal (GARD) to demand and access the food schemes and monitor the implementation of the same. Oxfam India works in 36 villages of which 35 have set up GARD. Oxfam India has been working with Chetna Vikas, since 2011, in 2 districts – Deoghar and Dumka.
