CADAM (Centre for Alternative Dalit Media) is the founder ofNACDOR (National Confederation of Dalit Organisations (and is a membership-based platform. Its membership is open to all organisations working for the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Minorities and other socially excluded sections of Indian society. It has evolved through a democratic process by engaging the Dalit community with secular, democratic and progressive forces, civil society and governance structures at various levels. National Confederation of Dalit Organisations (NACDOR) is the apex body of Dalit Organisations in India and is committed to an inclusive, progressive, secular, democratic and non-sectarian society.

<h3>About the Project: </h3>

<li>To include Dalits in the social, economic and political life of the country.</li>
<li>Give voice to marginalised communities in Policy Formulation. </li>
<h5>Specific Objectives</h5>
<li>Trained 25 Dalit/ Adivasi organisations from five states on land rights, budgets and human rights</li>
<li>7500 Dalit/ Adivasi families assert the claim on land and resources.</li>
<li>A national consultation consolidates the direction of Dalit/ Adivasi land rights struggles.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Expected Impact: </h3>
<ul class="list-group">
<li>Will result in marginalized-led organisations building capacity around the key question of land.</li>
<li>Lead to action where 7500 Dalit Adivasi families claim land and resources. </li>
</ul>
<h3>Achievements so far: </h3>
<ul class="list-group">
<li>Mobilised the Dalit CSOs at a large scale and oriented them on the Post 2015 Development agenda.</li>
<li>Represented to the UN Secretary General with the global civil society.</li>
<li>Highlighted the need for the Post 2015 Development Agenda to focus on inequalities and exclusion.</li>
