During the process, the organization realized that working on women, particularly violence against women is essential. Thus, they took up issues such as atrocities against elected women representatives, violence issues against Dalits and Tribal women. At present they are working in 70 villages. The women leaders in their area of functioning has formed ‘Sangwari Mahila Manch’ with their support.</p><p>The organization under the theme of ‘Nyay ke liye badte kadam’ (Taking steps towards disseminate awareness regarding domestic violence and violence against women.</p><p>Impact made by partner:</p><ul class="list-group"><ul class="list-group"><li>Sangwari Mahila Manch allowed more women to take leadership role. It also brought in visibility on the issues of violence against women at district level.</li><li>New leadership will emerge in area which will be sensitive to discriminatory practices and will have a know how to tackle such issues.</li><li>This will pave a new way for all future development activities.</li><li>Nyay Samiti (Justice Committee) formed, which will be sensitive in giving judgments and will have a feminist approach.</li></ul></ul><h3>Quotes of Beneficiaries:</h3><p><strong>Sukhyarin, village Jatiatora</strong> - People in my village used to accuse me after I became widow, I did not know what to do.
