Introduction

Financial Management Service Foundation (FMSF) is a development resource organization, established in 1995 by the Evangelischer Entwicklungsdientst or EED, Germany. FMSF is a facilitating body which assists the voluntary organizations to improve their accounting and reporting requirement. It also acts as a resource organization which helps in capacity building of CSOs in South Asia on Financial Management and related governance systems. FMSF provides accompaniment services to many international organizations like EED; Bread for the World; ICCO, Netherlands; Christian Aid, U.K.; Tearfund U.K.; Tearfund Netherlands; World Council of Churches; German Agro Action (GAA); Geneva Global; Institute of Social and Ethical Accountability, U.K.; National Christian Council of Sri Lanka; Christian World Relief Committee, Canada; Australian Baptist World Aid and Swiss Development Cooperation in building the financial systems & procedures of their partners. FMSF has around 20 years of experience in the areas of Financial Monitoring and Capacity Building of CSOs on financial management and governance. FMSF has already facilitated workshops for OXFAM partners in past. In 2012 it facilitated workshop of similar nature in the series of 8 workshops across the country.
