Donors speak

Dola Dasgupta

On my birthday, November 5, the doorbell rang and there stood two smiling young men asking for a contribution on behalf of Oxfam India for the education of poor children.

I signed the papers for supporting the education of five children and my heart was filled with joy. I am grateful to Oxfam India for having given me the best birthday gift ever.

I have been associated with Oxfam India for few years now. The activities and effort of Oxfam India in humanitarian issues is quite prominent. I also support the organisations efforts to make education a reality for poor children in India. I want to involve myself further with its work.

Oxfam India is doing remarkable work by helping those who are deprived. We are on the brink of making India a super power and our contribution towards helping others will certainly go a long way in that journey. I strongly recommend contributions to Oxfam India's work towards social empowerment of all people. I am happy that Oxfam India has commenced their operations in Indore also. I wish all the best to its staff.
