The Oxfams are rights-based organizations that fight poverty and injustice by linking grassroots programming (through partner NGOs) to local, national and global advocacy and policy-making. Oxfam India works in partnership with over 180 grassroots NGOs to address root causes of poverty and injustice in the four areas of 1) Economic Justice, 2) Essential Services, 3) Gender Justice and 4), Humanitarian Response and Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR). Oxfam India’s program is focused on seven States – Assam, Bihar, Chattisgarh, Jharkhand, Orissa, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand – and four social groups – Dalits, tribals, Muslims, and women.
Donate to a project, provide education to children, empower women, improve farming methods for better harvests, ensure villages have access to clean water, help survivors recover and rebuild after natural disasters, and achieve long-lasting change in so many other ways.
The best way to support Oxfam India's work is by giving on a monthly basis. By donating monthly you will help ensure that we continue in our mission to create a just, fair and equitable society.
Campaigns can be a powerful way for you to influence change for better. Your donation will help us amplify the voice of those struggling with poverty and injustice.
Our humanitarian work aims at assuring both protection and assistance to women, men, youth and children affected by a humanitarian crisis, in a manner consistent with their human rights. The focus is on: Water, Sanitation and Hygiene.
