Oxfam India's development-oriented films in partnership with NDTV

Oxfam India entered into a partnership with New Dehi Television Limited to promte a series of development-oriented films in its popular series called India Matters,. Well known Journalist and documentary film-maker Shikha Trivedi  went around the length and breadth of the country to produce a series of films on environment and climate change. This was followed by another series of intelligent and educative films on Muslim issues. Both these series were produced in 2010. This year, Oxfam India as part of its food justice campaign supported Shikha to produce a series on the Public Distribution system and the BPL/APL controversy. The aim was to look at the throny issues in the light of the new food  security bill that is to be tabled in parliament in the winter session.
