Is the payment process secure?

Your information is completely secure, once you have submitted the information the data is securely transferred to our payment service provider & the payment securely processed. We will not use any financial information that you have provided here for anything other than processing your donation.

How does this work?

Once you have submitted your information your payment will be processed by our secure payment processing service. If you have opted for a one-time donation, your payment will be processed immediately. In case you have opted for the monthly donation option, your first donation will be processed immediately whereas subsequent monthly donations will be processed between the 5th and 10th of each month.

Why should I opt for a monthly donation?

Please choose a monthly donation as that means we have some idea of how much money we are expecting in the coming months. This helps us in planning our programme expenses in an efficient way. The procedure is very simple hence you do not need to visit the website again to make another donation.

Do I get a receipt?

Oxfam India for one-time donation will send a Tax Exemption Certificate within 10 days of your donation. For regular monthly donations, Oxfam India will send you a consolidated receipt at the end of the financial year.

Are there any tax-benefits of donating to Oxfam India?

All donations made to Oxfam India enjoy an exemption under section 80G of the Indian Income Tax Act which means that 50% of your donation is tax deductible. Please use the Oxfam India Tax Exemption Receipt to claim the same while filing your Income Tax returns.

How do I stop a monthly donation? (Cancellation Policy)

You can choose to stop your monthly contribution anytime you wish, please send us an email at fundraising@oxfamindia.org or call us on 011-46538021/ +91-9999016245 and we will do the needful.
