Job Description:
To help Oxfam India, Mumbai / Chandigarh operation to increase the fundraising income from individuals and corporate sector in India, by recruiting & training fundraising team within an efficient cost/income ratio and build and motivate the fundraising team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage and implement a fundraising strategy for the direct marketing and corin conjunction with the fundraising manager with main focus on individuals and corporate sector.
- Achieve agreed income goals to meet operational needs.
- Develop, implement and embed procedures and systems to ensure a cohesive and planned approach to our fundraising activities.
- Undertake monitoring and evaluation of fundraising activities and achievements related to agreed targets and cost/income ratio.
- Recruit, manage, build and motivate the face to face fundraising team and train them whenever needed.
- Analyse, implement and monitor new growth potentials by introducing new fundraising channels, up scaling existing activities and introducing innovative activities for fundraising.
- Investigate and implement successful fundraising methods from other operation.
- Develop and protect Oxfam India’s brand status.
- Monitoring the data management system for Mumbai operation.
- To take up the whole charge for the Mumbai / Chandigarh Fundraising Office.

Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 2-4 years sales / fundraising experience with demonstrable track record.
- Excellent knowledge of English both verbal and written.
- Ability to recruit, train, Lead and motivate the team of fundraiser.
- Innovative and strategic thinking but also hands-on.
- Result driven to reach ambitious growth.
- Motivator and team builder and enable individuals to reach potential.
- Demonstrable problem-solving and analytical ability on complex problems.
- Ability to budget and to monitor income and expenditure.
- Understanding of different fundraising channels like Face 2 Face, Telemarketing, Direct Mail, online, etc.
- Existing network within corporate sector would be desirable.
- Experience in NGO sector is a must.
- Knowledge and experience of the donor community in India would be desirable.
- Social Entrepreneur Approach to non- profit sustainability.
- Highly performance oriented/ target oriented.
- Excellent team player Innovative, Aggressive & persistent.
Travel Ability to travel within country and abroad as required.
