Corporate Fundraising Officer

Job Description: 

To help Oxfam India to work on getting permissions from the corporate in the region to allow the fundraising team to raise revenue from the corporatism by putting stall and through payroll giving.

Key Responsibilities   

Communicating and Information sharing with Fundraising team, to engage in relationship with corporate organisations

  1. To create a database of the corporate organisations in the region, and regularly update it.
  2. To acquire more knowledge about the CSR activity of the corporate and sharing information with the line manager for future collaboration with them.
  3. To maintain relations with corporate donors and staff.
  4. To organise meetings and fundraising camps at the corporate offices.
  5. Proactively identify opportunities for Oxfam Fundraising
  6. To send regular reports and upraise the line managers on the permission activity, the reports to be sent are given below.
  • Daily Call report
  • Weekly update on permission
  • Monthly update on the permission
  • Debrief of the permission along with the team once the permission is executed
  • Evaluation after every permission ( in put from the team )
  • Check list of the permission (Salary level of the employees/ number of employees/ number of locations/ location type/ number of days/timing of the permission/ type of corporate/ Number of times we worked with the corporate/ make a calendar of permissions).

Qualifications and Experience       

  1. Graduation in any stream from any recognized university – Essential
  2. Post Graduation - Preferred
  3. Experience of at least 4 years and excellent organisational skills in a similar job – Essential
  4. Computer literate – proven experience of working in advanced word processing/ spreadsheet/ accounting packages - Essential
  5. Have a Social Entrepreneur Approach to non- profit sustainability.
  6. Highly performance oriented/ target oriented.
  7. Excellent team player, with the ability works in a collaborative and consultative manner.
  8. Innovative, Aggressive & persistent.
  9. Assumes responsibility and accountability for performance.
  10. Confident, pleasing personality.
  11. Good Communication Skills in English (both verbal and written).
  12. Result driven to reach ambitious targets
  13. Understanding of different fundraising channels like DRTV, Face 2 Face, Telemarketing, Direct Mail, online, etc.
  14. Experience in NGO sector would be desirable.

Travel         Ability to travel within country and abroad as required.

Relocation  During the course of employment the post holder may be required to move base on a temporary or permanent basis to any workplace controlled by Oxfam India
